First time here, was looking to see if they had pet bunnies. The staff here were very kind and extremely helpful, not to mention knowledgeable! They have a clear passion for animals, a rare thing to see in pet stores nowadays. Lori and Orion specifically gave a lot of helpful information, and were both extremely polite. This is a wonderful store, great employees and a nice, clean, pleasant atmosphere. I will be coming here again for supplies in the future!

The employee who helped us was not rushed. He gave us the information we needed to make informed decisions about the fish we wanted to purchase. This is our go-to place for all things aquarium related, and we drive almost an hour to get there.

Love this place. I drive half hour from Topeka to Lawrence for the selection and the experience of the employees.. Update... 6/6/26 Went in today . Was a great time.. The fish manger is a pretty up front kind of guy!. Planning to have a few fish order in, since I am looking for very specific fish..

This is an awesome place! It’s a great spot to bring kids and the staff is always extremely friendly. There’s so much to look at and they do birthday parties too. They’ve also got these huge fish you can feed for $1. You can go to shop or just go to look at all the animals. They also sell roaches, mice, crickets etc for feeding.

Such an amazing pet store, they have anything and everything you can think of and it is priced well below the big box pet stores. 100% will be back for all future pet needs! For the pricing is almost walked out with a whole Dwarf Hamster AND set up for under $175.
